We can’t wait to welcome you to the Big Church Festival!
Here’s what you need to know to make your journey as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

QUICK TRAVEL TIPS
The Big Church Festival 2026 will be held at the Wiston Estate in West Sussex, England.
- Have your e-ticket ready before reaching the gate, either printed, saved to your phone or as a screenshot.
- Share a lift if you can, it’s cheaper, more fun and better for the planet.
- Stay on-site at the Big Church Campsite or Glamping Village to enjoy the full experience.
- Leaving the site? Allow at least 30 minutes to exit after the event (though it may take longer).
- Traffic Reminder: Queues are likely due to our rural location, but our Traffic Management team will do their best to get everyone in quickly and safely!
- VMS Signage – Please also refer to the variable message signage (big digital signs) outside the event site for any changes to these instructions.
BY CAR
Before you travel
- Parking must be pre-booked (£20 per car – for the whole weekend)
- For accessible parking, you must email [email protected] to secure your accessible car parking spot
- Caravan pitches include parking.
- Please note: Due to our rural location, traffic queues are likely at peak times

Traffic Reminder: Queues are likely due to our rural location, but our Traffic Management team will do their best to get everyone in quickly and safely!
Speed Limit: There will be a reduced speed limit in place outside the event site for the duration of the event. This is to help us safely manage all traffic – please abide by this at all times

STEP ONE: PREP
Before you start your journey, make sure you:
Have your tickets ready: Download your E-tickets to your device in advance.
Grab essentials:

STEP TWO: CHOOSE YOUR ROUTE
Get your maps ready!
Head to Wiston Estate, Steyning BN44 3DA to reach the local traffic signage area- from there, just follow the signs for your gate based on your ticket type and where you’re coming from!
Non-Campers – (EXCLUDING ALL ACCESSIBLE VISITORS)
FROM THE EAST (A283)
If you are coming for the day arriving from the East (Past Steyning) then you need to look out for the RED traffic signage on the A283.

FROM THE WEST (A24)
If you are coming for the day and arriving from the West (A24) you need to look out for the GREEN traffic signage

Camping and Rent – A – Tent
Follow the directional traffic signage for ‘CAMPING’. This will lead you to the correct gate. This will either be the Orange or Green gate based on which route you have taken to the event.

ALL Accessible Guests
If you require accessible parking, please email [email protected]. If you are using the Accessible Campsite or require Accessible Parking at Big Church you need to look out for the GREEN traffic signage. These instructions are the same if you are bringing a caravan, motorhome or have a glamping tent in the Access Campsite.
Our parking team will guide you to the Accessible car park, where the dedicated Accessible ticket gate is located.
Caravans & Campervans
Please ensure your vehicle setup fits within your booked space. (6x9m) You need to follow the ORANGE traffic signage
Should you need it the w3w words for the Caravan gate is ///remainder.pool.magic
Once you have arrived you will be instructed to drive into the Caravan field and you will be parked up by one of the camping team.
Glamping
For all Glampers you need to follow the ORANGE traffic signage
Should you need it the w3w words for the Glamping gate is ///remainder.pool.magic
Drop off & Taxis
Please follow the directions on the road signs to access our Drop-Off Zones. This is accessed via the Yellow Gate. Please follow all signage for the YELLOW GATE.
STEP THREE: ARRIVE
Follow the guidance of our parking wardens and safety team- You’ll need your parking E-Tickets ready to show here to keep everyone moving smoothly.
Once you are parked: Identify the location of your car using What 3 Words so you can find it easily when you are going home!
Collect your wristbands:
Follow the signs to your ticket gate to exchange your Admission Tickets for wristbands.
Unload
Mr Trolley will be on hand to help transport your camping gear from the car park to the campsite.
Create your home for the weekend:
Set up your tent, decorate your space, get the camping chairs out and settle in properly- Make it yours!
Quick note: All Caravans & Campervans will be directed to your pre-booked pitch on arrival.
Explore the Village Hub & Big Church Hub:
Once you’re set up, head into the heart of the campsite and explore the Village Green where you can grab a well-deserved CLO coffee and meet your fellow campers. You can also make your way over to the Big Church Hub in the main arena to get first dibs on merch and find out more about the Big Church story before the music starts on Friday afternoon.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Shuttle Bus
We recommend downloading or taking a screenshot of the bus schedule below. Shuttle buses run regularly from Shoreham by sea station straight to the site via Steyning High Street, stopping only at the Clock Tower both to and from the festival site, making it easy and safe to access Big Church Festival from Steyning village.

STEP TWO: CHOOSE YOUR ROUTE...OR ROUTES
Train
Plan your journey to Shoreham-by-Sea Station, then follow the signs for the festival shuttle bus.
Shuttle buses run regularly from the station straight to the site so don’t worry if you miss one, another will be along shortly.
Note: The shuttle drops you right at the festival entrance. Easy peasy.
Bus
Plan your journey to the closest public bus stop: Steyning Highstreet clock tower
- From there, take the festival shuttle bus to the site
- Look out for festival signage in the village!
Walking? Bus is best!
If you’re a Steyning Village resident or you are staying in Stenying village over the weekend the safest and easiest way to get to the festival site is to use the shuttle bus. This year, the shuttle bus will travel via Steyning High Street, with a single, convenient stop at the Clock Tower – both to and from the festival.
It’s a short ride and a simple way to join the fun without the uphill walk or any confusion about access. Just hop on and enjoy the journey!
Don’t worry you’ll still get your steps in over the event.
Please note: Do not use Mouse Lane (no access via this route)
STEP THREE: ARRIVE!
Once you arrive on site, follow the steward's directions to either the campsite or the festival entrance.
Collect your wristbands:
Follow the signs to your ticket gate to exchange your Admission Tickets for wristbands.
Find your accommodation or campsite:
Once you’re set up, head into the heart of the campsite and explore the Village Green where you can grab a well-deserved CLO coffee and meet your fellow campers. You can also make your way over to the Big Church Hub in the main arena to get first dibs on merch and find out more about the Big Church story before the music starts on Friday afternoon.

TRAVELLING FROM FURTHER AWAY
Before you travel, some important information
Don’t forget to plan your route back home! Missed flights/ connections is not how you want to end the weekend!
Planning on staying past BCF?
We recommend checking out the local towns of Arundel, Littlehampton and Brighton!
STEP ONE: PREP
Before you start your journey, make sure you:
Have your tickets ready:
Download and organise your E-tickets to your device in advance. (Especially if your coming an a large group)
Know your route
The nearest rail station is Shoreham-by-Sea, with connections from:
- London Heathrow Via Victoria
- Gatwick Airport
- Brighton
- Worthing
Don’t forget to check your train/ connection route for your return journey! Different days/bank holidays have can have different running times.
STEP TWO: CHOOSE YOUR ROUTE
Plane
Flying in? No worries!
- Fly into Gatwick Airport (closest airport, 45 mins away by car) Or connect Via london
- Take a direct train to Shoreham-by-Sea
- Then hop on the festival shuttle bus to the site
Coach
GATE: Coaches will only be admitted to site if they’ve been in touch with us beforehand. Please contact us at [email protected] in advance so we can allocate coach parking!
All coaches should follow the advice of stewards and signage to the dedicated coach areas
Please note: Coaches are welcome to remain parked on site for the duration of the festival.
If your coach is dropping off and returning later:
- Re-entry must be via RED GATE
- All return collections must arrive before 6pm on Sunday as there is no vehicle access to site after this time

HELPFUL TIPS
Save Your Parking Spot.
One parked, save your location in What3Words so you can easily find your vehicle later on.
Arrivals.
Peak arrival times are usually busiest. Allow extra travel time, especially on Thursday and Friday morning and afternoon.

What to have ready.
Make sure your:
- Admission eTickets
- Parking tickets
- Accommodation bookings
are downloaded and easy to access on your phone before arriving.
Follow Festival Signage.
As you get close to the site, festival traffic signs will provide helpful details for the route to your gate.
Toilets.
We have toilets located near all camping ticket gates. So you don’t have to wait to exchange your E-Ticket for a wristband to use the loo!
Big Church recommends.
- Extra blankets for evenings
- Refillable water bottle and coffee cup (Savings when you bring your own coffee cup to a CLO cafe )
- Fairy lights for your on site accommodation- Cute and practical!
- Don’t forget to get a programme or check out the BCF Merch tent! Once they’re gone, they’re gone!

If you’re planning to arrive at Big Church Festival by coach, we’d love to help make your journey as smooth as possible!
Please email us at [email protected] in advance so we can ensure a parking space is allocated for your coach.
All coaches must arrive via Red Gate, where they’ll be directed to the designated coach drop-off and pick-up point. Coaches are welcome to remain parked here for the duration of the event.
If your coach is dropping off and leaving, it must return to the site via Red Gate before 6pm on Sunday. Please note: there will be no access to the site for vehicles after 6pm on Sunday, so it’s important that return plans are arranged with this in mind.
