Here’s everything you need to know to make your journey smooth and enjoyable while keeping traffic to a minimum.
Please note: Only car parking tickets will be available to purchase on the gate. No other tickets — including event or camping tickets – will be available on the gate, so please ensure you have these in advance.

QUICK TRAVEL TIPS
The Big Church Festival 2025 will be held at the Wiston Estate in West Sussex, England.
- Have your e-ticket ready before reaching the gate, either printed, saved to your phone or as a screenshot.
- Share a lift if you can, it’s cheaper, more fun and better for the planet.
- Stay on-site at the Big Church Campsite or Glamping Village to enjoy the full experience.
- Leaving the site? Allow at least 30 minutes to exit after the event (though it may take longer).
BY CAR
- Important: Pre-book parking (£15 per car) via our website. Caravan pitches include parking.
- Please follow road signs (not Sat Nav) as you approach Wiston Estate.
- Please note: There is no entry via Mouse Lane in Steyning village.
- Due to our rural location, queues are likely. Our Traffic Management team will be working hard to keep everything moving smoothly.

To help you arrive at the right place, we’ve set up different gates depending on your journey and ticket type.
Here’s how to find yours using the What3Words app:
Day Visitors from the East (past Steyning) and Accessible Day Visitors (from East and West)
Head to: RED GATE via A283.
- Download the What 3 Words App.

- Click on navigate from the menu at the bottom.
- Select Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze to provide you with the Sat Nav route.
- If you have access needs please park in the Day Visitor Accessible Car Park.
- Once you are parked, identify the location of your car using What 3 Words so you can find it easily when you are going home.
DAY VISITORS ARRIVING FROM THE WEST (A24) EXCLUDING ACCESSIBLE DAY VISITORS

Coming by Coach?
If you’re planning to arrive at Big Church Festival by coach, we’d love to help make your journey as smooth as possible!
Please email us at [email protected] in advance so we can ensure a parking space is allocated for your coach.
All coaches must arrive via Red Gate, where they’ll be directed to the designated coach drop-off and pick-up point.
Coaches are welcome to remain parked here for the duration of the event. If your coach is dropping off and leaving, it must return to the site via Red Gate before 6pm on Sunday. Please note: there will be no access to the site for vehicles after 6pm on Sunday, so it’s important that return plans are arranged with this in mind.
CAMPING + RENT-A-TENT

ACCESSIBLE CAMPSITE

On-Site Support
- Our parking team will guide you to the Accessible car park, where the dedicated Accessible ticket gate is located.
- The Access Team will then explain where your pitch is located as well as supporting you with getting your camping kit moved.
- Everyone booked into the Accessible Campsite will receive an email in advance with helpful tips and information.

CARAVANS & CAMPERVANS
Head to: ORANGE GATE
- Download the What 3 Words App.

- Click on navigate from the menu at the bottom.
- Select Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze to provide you with the Sat Nav route.
- Once you have arrived you will be instructed to drive into the Caravan field and you will be parked up by one of the camping team.
- Please make sure your car and caravan/campervan fit within your space booked.
- Once parked, identify the location of your vehicle using What 3 Words so you can find it easily at night or if you need assistance from our medical or safety team.
GLAMPING
Head to: ORANGE GATE

Shuttle Bus
New & Improved Shuttle Bus Service
To make your journey smoother, we’ve doubled the number of buses during our busiest times on the three main festival days. No more long waits: evening buses now run every 30 minutes instead of hourly.
All buses will now travel via Steyning High Street, stopping only at the Clock Tower both to and from the festival site, making it easy and safe to access Big Church Festival from Steyning.

Public Transport
By Train
Shoreham-by-Sea is the nearest station, with direct connections from London and Gatwick. Our shuttle bus will take you straight to the festival.
By Bus
The nearest bus stop is in Steyning Village.
By Plane
Gatwick Airport is around 45 minutes away by car. From there, take a train to Shoreham-by-Sea, then hop on the shuttle bus to the site.
Drop-Off Zone
Please follow the directions on the road signs to access our Drop-Off Zones.
Walking from Steyning Village
Please note that there is no access to Big Church Festival via Mouse Lane — this route is not open for festival entry or exit.
If you’re staying in or coming from Steyning village, the safest and easiest way to get to the festival site is to use the shuttle bus. This year, the shuttle bus will travel via Steyning High Street, with a single, convenient stop at the Clock Tower — both to and from the festival.
It’s a short ride and a simple way to join the fun without the uphill walk or any confusion about access. Just hop on and enjoy the journey!
