The Makers Market

A curated selection of stalls selling unique art, craftwork and gifts.

We’re excited that the Tea Garden Market has a new name for 2026: The Makers Market, which will now be located right next to the Worship Tent – placing you at the very heart of the festival atmosphere with more space to engage with more customers.

Due to the high demand for spaces for 2025 – we’re taking a slightly different approach this year. To apply for The Makers Market, please complete the application form by 12th December. We’ll then be in touch in the new year to let you know if your application has been successful. Our aim is to ensure a vibrant mix of stalls, offering a wide variety of products and experiences for festival-goers.

The Expo

A bustling epicentre of world-changing organisations and epic traders.

This market-style venue offers you a chance to share your organisation’s resources, gifts, ideas and treasures with the thousands of people on-site. It is the perfect place to raise awareness of your organisation’s work, whilst feeling fully immersed in the event.

Big Church wouldn’t be Big Church without the fantastic, fun-filled activities delivered by our charity partners across site.

Whether it’s running a 5k each morning, sliding down a 60 meter zip wire or having a unique body marbling design on your arm, we love working with organisations who want to meet our audience by providing great quality content.

We’re always looking for new and exciting ideas that will bring huge smiles to our amazing crowd. So if you have an idea you’d like to have a chat about, please drop our partnerships team an email [email protected] and they will get back to you!

Applications for the Makers Market will close on December 12th, 2025, and applicants will be contacted in January 2026 to confirm if their application has been successful.  For The Expo and all other advertising opportunities, we will respond to you within 14 days of receiving your application to let you know if it has been accepted. If you haven’t heard from us after 14 days, then please let us know by emailing [email protected].

Our aim is to provide the best experience for our guests, exhibitors and advertisers. We may reject applications if we have already received applications from similar trades or ministries. For this reason, we advise you to submit your application as soon as possible.

Most stands/stalls will need insurance cover of at least £5 million. However, if your stand is a table and pop-up only, then we can accept Public Liability Insurance of at least 2 million. If you are unsure please email [email protected]

The Expo and The Makers Market are very different. The Makers Market is only open to businesses that fit the criteria of ‘unique or handmade artwork, craftwork or gifts’. If you’re unsure, feel free to email us at exhibitors@bigchurchfestival.com.

Yes. Advertising is the same in both versions of the programme but you will need to supply us with two different size adverts.

After your application has been accepted, you’ll be sent an invoice which will need to be paid within 14 days.
